Definition
Voice cloning for accessibility lets assistive technology speak in a person’s own voice instead of a generic one. With consent, you clone the voice from a short sample on the Speechify Build API and use that voice ID in read-aloud, communication, or AAC tools. It makes assistive speech personal.
A personal voice
Generic assistive voices work, but they are not the person. A cloned voice gives read-aloud and communication aids the individual’s own sound, which matters for identity and for the people who know them. Zero-shot cloning needs only a short clean sample, so capturing the voice is quick.
Preserving a voice

Consent
