Voice agent telephony
Put an agent on the phone network, inbound or outbound, on our numbers or yours.
- Inbound and outbound over SIP
- Provision numbers from the dashboard
- Bring your own carrier (Twilio, Telnyx, custom)
Definition
Voice agent telephony is how an agent reaches the phone network. It answers inbound calls and places outbound calls over SIP, either on a number you provision through the dashboard or on your own carrier. One agent configuration drives both directions.
How it works
You choose the connection. Provision a number in a few clicks, or connect your existing SIP trunk through bring-your-own-carrier. From there, inbound calls route to the agent and outbound campaigns dial from it. The telephony layer handles the call setup while the agent handles the talking.
Bring your own carrier
BYOC keeps your numbers and your telephony relationships. If you already run Twilio, Telnyx, or a custom trunk, the agent connects to it rather than forcing a migration. Your carrier, the agent’s conversation.
Billing
Telephony orchestration is part of the all-in per-minute rate, not a separate charge. The LLM, the speech stack, and the call setup are one line item.
